Wow! It's been 10 years since I've posted an update, and about 8 years since I've posted here on DA. But! I have wonderful news. I just published my own book!

So, I finally updated to a Prem Membership today. As you may have noticed, my username has changed. There will be more improvements soon..I think.

Speaking of improvements: I will be purchasing Neutral Density filters in the near future, so expect a majority of my new work to be with these..adjustments.

600+ Watchers and a little visit to New York City.

4 months ago I booked my birthday trip to New York City. I will be turning 24 a week from now, and celebrating it with my friend who is turning 24 the day before I am. I will also be very busy tackling my personal workload of photos and new locations. I will be doing a few repeats, but will keep that to a minimum. I'm only taking 50 & 400 ISO film for this trip.

And: Six Hundred Watchers! For those who are new, I make a Journal every time my # of +watchers goes up a hundred. It's just a big Thank You to all my watchers, new & old. =)

I'll see you folks in about ten days, upon my safe return to Chicago. =D


PS- I also watched Howl's Castle for the first time last night. Very good film. I laughed more than a few times as well. :dance:

Logged in today and was shocked to see 500+ messages. I was freaked out thinking it was mostly group submissions, since I haven't been around much lately. But, to my great pleasure, I discovered that my Harbor-reflection-fog shot, taken back in early May, has been featured as a DD!

200,000 views, 500 Watchers!

Hooray! Another 'milestone' journal! For all whom are unaware, I make a journal for each 100+ dev-watchers.

Today there have been two of such numerical markers. First, was the 500 Watchers, which was helped in no small part by my latest submission, Chicago CXXXVIII.

The second was something that one could say was a long time coming. 200,000 deviation views wasn't easy for me to come by. But, it is helped nonetheless by a few DDs. My most viewed image here is Chicago CXI, which has 11,090 views (5.5% of total) That's 1/231... If you add all the DD's together you get 27,159(and counting) , which is 13.5% of all.

Also if one was to tally the 10 most viewed images I have, you would get 44,619, which is 22.3%..kinda ridiculous, amirite?

Anyway, These journals are always a big Thank You to all who took the time to stop by and check out my work. You've made a bigger difference than you think. =) :+favlove:
